Questions related to Import Declaration Delay

I'm just curious and I have a question.

We don't have a tracking number yet, but we do have some planned purchases.

I bought a similar item a few months ago, and it went inbound, but the Import Declaration didn't start for a week.

I hadn't heard from the forwarder for three days, so I got in touch with Delivery Proxy Service to do an import declaration, but as I recall, it wasn't an inspection item, and it wasn't a receipt issue.

Is it often that customs clearance, which usually doesn't cause any problems after the inbound declaration, doesn't start the import declaration for a long time?

It's hard to say that Hello Inquiry happens all the time, but it depends on what's going on at the time. Usually, it's similar to List Clearance, which happens on the same day, or it takes a little longer, and if you do Inspection, it can take longer.

I've ordered regular passes, only some forwarders sometimes don't start the import declaration, so it seems to be more of an internal matter than a matter of the goods themselves.
